Aurora, Minn. (July16, 2018) - Elliott Burns in his Evolution Powersports powered Can-Am X3 continues to be a front-runner in the Midwest Short Course League Pro Mod UTV class. Rounds three and four at ERX Motorpark in Minneapolis, Minnesota brought the top off-road racers together for a heated battle with temperatures in the low nineties. In round three, Burns started on the pole in the team’s U.S. Air Force/AMSOIL/EVP Can-Am X-3. Elliott led for a number of laps but the car setup was a little off for the conditions and he finished one spot off the podium in fourth place. “Our lap times have dropped almost two seconds a lap since our last test session here as both the car and Elliott improve,” said Steve Scheuring. New software from Evolution Powersports as well as the installation of their new high efficiency intercooler helped with the improved lap times.  With this being our first full-season we are learning more each day.”   In round four, Elliott was back on the podium with a third place finish as the crew made big changes to the car following Friday’s race. Burns holds down second place in the Pro Mod championship, only 15 points out of the lead. Rounds five and six take place August 11-12 in Bark River, Michigan.
