UTV Takeover Oklahoma Mod: This race was a bit different from the normal Sand Outlaws Series. The rules were quite a bit looser for Mod Class with respect to minimum weights as well as allowing launch control. In the end, the EVP Desert Storm continues to kick ass and remains undefeated in any heat or race for the entire season! Anyone who thinks racing is easy has not experienced the behind the scenes work that goes on both before and at the races. Our testing consists of many long days at our own sand track and showing up at the races early to make sure the car is setup for the conditions at hand. Fortunately, Dan Picht, our great team and the Zuccone brothers have been at this for a long time and have the commitment to do what it takes to win.

Outlaw Class:
The EVP Hustler Car is starting to come together. UTV Takeover Oklahoma was the first event this year where we were able to run the entire race without driveline issues. The competition was fierce as there were many fast cars gunning for us. By far the most ardent competitor was Mike Pollard in his Blue RZR. In our first matchup, we smoked a belt and lost the heat. As it turns out Mike had mechanical issues on that race as well. Both cars ended up in the finals. When Mike and Dan lined up again and this time the EVP Hustler car edged out Mike RZR. The victorious Hustler car is the result of extensive testing which has achieved a level of reliability and power never seen before on an X3. We now know the Hustler is on par with the fastest cars in the country and will be ready for race #5 at Sand Mountain Utah on Oct 3rd.
