The EVP.MOde X3 Big Brake Kit is a true work of mechanical art that blends premium quality with the latest disc-braking technology available for your X3. Made in the U.S.A., the CNC-machined, 4-piston calipers combined with larger, scallop-cut rotors increase braking power by upwards of 35% compared to the OEM brake system. This is reflected in our official 60 - 0 (mph) Dragy stopping data, which were dramatically reduced by more than 1.5 seconds and 67.75 feet compared to the OEM brake system (see images below).

All EVP.MOde X3 Big Brake Kits include:

- 11.5' semi-floating front discs

LARGER THAN OEM

EVP Big Brake Kits feature oversized 11.5” semi-floating front discs coupled with 10.9” solid-mount rear discs that are 6% and 17% larger than stock, respectively. The larger rotor size increases leverage on the wheel for significantly improved stopping power.

FOUR-PISTON CALIPER

EVP Big Brake Kits include four off-road, high-performance CNC-machined billet aluminum 4-piston calipers that deliver exceptionally enhanced braking torque compared to the stock twin-piston calipers. Kits also include four high-performance brake pads.

SCALLOPED-CUT DISCS

The oversized, scalloped-cut design drastically cuts down on heat dissipation, resists warping, and reduces brake pad “kick back” for a firm pedal feel. Maximum cooling, controlled and predictable responsiveness, and 35% more braking power than OEM.

This same off-the-shelf Big Brake Kit was installed on Team EVP.MOde’s modified “M8” Can-Am Maverick X3 Sand Outlaw Series “Outlaw Class” car that recently broke the World Top Speed Record for a powersports-based engine — not only once, but twice — with a top speed of 157.89 MPH. The “world’s fastest BRP-powered side-by-side” was fully equipped with an onboard parachute system to assist with braking, which was never deployed thanks to the unrivaled stopping power of the EVP Big Brake System.

PROVEN STOPPING POWER

Official Dragy 60 – 0 (MPH) times for EVP’s Big Brake Kit by Performance Machine provided a significant stopping power advantage over the OEM brake setup. Our X3 equipped with the Big Brake Kit featuring four-piston calipers combined with larger-than-stock rotors bested the stock setup by more than 1.5 seconds.
