When EVP started tuning development for the 2026 CFMOTO Z10, the goal wasn't to build a calibration focused on a peak dyno number. EVP engineers developed the Z10 ECU power flash to make it stronger everywhere that matters—harder acceleration, sustained power through the entire pull, and carrying that power throughout the usable RPM range for a completely new level of overall performance and drivability.
The stock CFMOTO Z10 produced 128 wheel horsepower on the dyno. The EVP Stage 1 calibration raised that to 144 WHP — a 16 WHP, 11.5% increase without touching the fuel system. EVP’s Stage 3 calibration, paired with the required fuel pressure regulator, hit 161 WHP, equaling a 33 WHP gain over stock for an astounding ~25% increase in wheel horsepower.
EVP’s Stage 1 power flash transforms the stock vehicle without requiring a fuel-system change. Stage 3 with raised fuel pressure takes the Z10 platform another step further for those who want the most potent version of the stock-turbo combination.
The shape of the curve matters
A dyno screenshot can be gamed. What the numbers don’t show is where those gains live in the pull. Stage 1 does not produce a narrow spike. It carries approximately 140-plus wheel horsepower across a broad portion of the pull — a range where the stock calibration is sitting at 105–115 WHP. That gap isn’t at the peak; it’s through the middle of every run.
Stage 3 raises the entire upper portion of the curve again, holding approximately 150–160 WHP through most of the usable speed range. That’s exactly the kind of gain you feel every time you stay in the throttle—not only at the top of the range. Stage 3 is adding another 17 WHP over Stage 1 — an additional 12% — while the shape of the curve remains broad and usable.
Real-World Acceleration — Stock vs EVP Stages 1 & 3
The dyno gains show up on the ground. Both runs were recorded at nearly identical density altitude — 2,096 feet for Stage 1 and 2,098 feet stock — giving a clean, controlled real-world comparison. Stage 3 was tested in tougher air at 2,858 feet density altitude yet still produced the quickest result of the three.
The biggest separation is not at launch — it builds with speed. Stage 1 is only 0.10 second ahead at 30 mph. By 50 mph it’s 0.91 second ahead. By 60 mph it’s 1.41 seconds ahead. That’s the calibration continuing to pull where the stock ECU maps out of power. Stage 3 reaches 60 mph 0.24-seconds quicker and uses 23.56 fewer feet than Stage 1 — even with density altitude roughly 760 feet higher.
