EVP Billet Shift Light Bezel for Can-Am Maverick R

Evolution Powersports is proud to bring another killer product to the BRP Maverick R community. A shift light is a device that provides visual cues to aid in shifting the Maverick R in Manual Mode. The OEM cluster has a prolonged RPM refresh rate, making it nearly impossible to use while driving. In addition, the first 3 gears are very short with a small shift window, making it easy to blow past the prime shift point and tag the rev limiter. When this happens, the vehicle is much slower than it would have been if it had been shifted on time.

The EVP Shift Light solves this issue by providing progressive visual cues as to when the ideal RPM is to shift. The LED lights start from the outer edges and move inward and change color from green to orange to red to flashing red as the RPM increase toward the shift point. Once you see the flashing red, pull the paddle and you will hit the shift point just right every time. We have two programs available to purchase. The first is for EVP non transmission or mild transmission tunes, and the other is for EVP DCT tunes. The shift light is programmable by a simple flash and USB-C cable when other higher RPM tunes become developed and available.

This updated revision of the Shift Light now features a clear LED gear display on the side of the bezel. This display shows whether the system is in auto or manual mode, as well as an indicator for low gear. With a high-contrast design, visibility is significantly improved. Another new addition is the auto-dimming functionality, which adjusts the brightness of the display. This feature is particularly useful at night, as it provides a softer light compared to the bright, vibrant display used in sunny conditions.

The Shift Light Bezel replaces the OEM plastic dash cluster bezel with our billet, anodized version. The electronics are waterproof (no pressure washing!) and were designed for off-road use. No wiring is necessary, as the EVP shift light plugs into the OEM diagnostic port and gets all of the information it needs right from there.
