We've created packages that will allow your base model to make the same horsepower as the 2018 172 hp version or the higher horsepower EVP tunes! This means that with tuning and a few parts, the base model can make the same power as the X3-R, XDS, XRS and XC models. With the 2019 fuel pump assembly, we can tune it to the same power as the big brother versions!

Over 185 wheel horsepower (230 engine hp) is achievable! Upgrade your 120 HP model to the same horsepower as our 2018-2020 X3-R EVP Tunes!

EVP's Power Flash Performance Pack allows your base model to make the same horsepower as the 172HP version, or higher depending on your tune choice! This means that with tuning and a few upgrades, the base model can make the same power as the Turbo R Models. With the Upgraded Turbo R Fuel Pump Assembly, we can tune the 120 Base Model to the same power as the big brother versions! Over 185 wheel horsepower (230 engine hp) is achievable with the stock turbocharger and even more with our Big Turbo Upgrade Systems! 

BASE DIFFERENCES

Here's what sets the 120HP Base Model apart from its brothers:
-Does Not Have an Intercooler
-Utilizes the Same Fuel Pump Assembly as the 2017 Models
-Stock Programming is VERY Docile 

DO I NEED THE INTERCOOLER?

Some customers have asked for tuning options that does not require an intercooler. While this is possible to make a higher horsepower number for a very short dyno run, the fact is the engine power is limited by intake temperature on pump gas. It is only possible to make elevated power for a couple of seconds before the engine must derate to prevent detonation due to high intake temperatures. It is not worth the risk to do a tune without adding an intercooler.

BEHIND OUR DEVELOPMENT

When we develop our ECU calibrations, we engineer them based on our real world testing and how we ride and race. Insatiable when it comes to development, our process starts out with over 200+ dyno runs in our state-of-the-art, climate-controlled Dyno Room.
We then field test on trails, desert, dunes and high altitude for driveability and long-term durability. We also run in the 110+ degree California weather to ensure performance at extreme temperatures.After the rigorous field-testing route is completed, they are further proven and refined on the track through our EVP race teams and Sponsored Racers.

We don't throw around terms like industry leading without the winning proof. We own a constantly evolving fleet of cars which allows us to do parallel development on stock turbo consumer tunes and race-prepped vehicles to develop only the best engineered and designed products and software.
