This part allows you to run a mechanical boost gauge to the dashboard area of any sled without having the inconvenience of having to unhook hoses from barbs. For turbocharged sleds, nothing is more valuable than a mechanical boost gauge because it will tell you what the pressure or vacuum is in the manifold. Electronic gauges are usually altitude compensated so they give a false reading of true boost when climbing in elevation. This quick disconnect allows you to run a mechanical gauge without the hassle associated with disconnecting lines each time
