 Q:  What is the difference between belts and what one is best for my terrain?

A:  The EX belt faces are knife cut and produces a strong grip on the clutches. The EX belt tends to engage the clutch slightly harsh belt to clutch face engagement than the EX and WB belt. Due to these characteristics you can expect the rpms to be slightly lower than that of the stock belt. We have found this belt works well in all terrain’s but produces a longer life in slow speed trail riding. ($)
A:  The SS belt faces are ball ground and produce an extremely precise fit to the clutches. The SS belt use special coated high twist cords to hold the belt together for the high stress unloaded to loaded conditions. The rpms are similar to that of the stock belt the stock belt. Q:  How much Horsepower can I expect with Big Turbo, Low octane tunes?

A:  The performance of all 91 octane big turbo tuning is similar to your vehicle's EVP Stage 3 package.

 

Q:  How does the spring affect Performance & RPM?

A:  A stiffer spring will raise the vehicles engagement RPM and raise the RPM's though the shift.

A:  A softer spring will lower the vehicles engagement RPM and lower the RPM's though the shift.

 

 Q:  How does the Helix Angle affect Performance & RPM?

A:  Shallow angles slow the rate of upshift and slow the rate of back shift. Steep angles speeds up the rate of shift and increase the rate of back shift.

A:  Shallow angles provide more engine RPM's

A:  Steep angles provide less engine RPM's

 

 Q:  How do EVP weights affect Performance & RPM?

A:  Need less RPM's = Increase flyweight mass - The TRA lever pushes harder.

A:  Need more RPM's = Reduce flyweight mass - The TRA lever pushes less hard.

 

Q:  How is the Dynomite for trail riding and what is the heat output?

A:  Compared to a stock turbo the Dynomite turbo kit produces approximately the same horsepower at RPM's below 3500. And the powerband is very linear to peak operating rpm. The EVP heat shield helps to direct heat from the turbo toward the back of the machine.
