EVP NEW HIRE: KENNY REED

Evolution Powersports is excited to announce our newest addition to the EVP team, Kenny Reed! Kenny began his relationship with EVP as a Brand Ambassador, an enthusiast who taped unbiased, informative technical installation videos. Him and his family recently moved to Wisconsin to start full-time as an EVP Shop Technician. Kenny brings expansive EVP product knowledge, fabrication skills and comes from an extensive racing background. He will work in the shop everyday on R&D projects as well as travel to shows and offer technical support and race support.

ABOUT KENNY
Originally from San Diego, California, Kenny began his offroad career in a motorsports shop at the age of 16. He received his ASE master tech certification by the age of 21. Kenny also got involved in building turbo cars racing during this time. He opened Heavy Hitter Performance building and developed several high horsepower turbo and NA import race cars. He also traveled all over the States competing in and winning several street and track races.

After several successful years in racing, Kenny took a step back to focus on family. Him and his wife have been together for 18 years and have 4 children together. His  break from offroad wouldn’t last long, as he quickly found a way to get back in and include his family. While working in the turbo machinery industry, he began building UTVs and started up his YouTube Channel, Back to the Desert.

Kenny started his YouTube Channel to help fellow enthusiasts install parts and upgrades in order to get back out to the desert having fun. He started putting out a lot of Evolution Powersports installation videos and further strengthened his relationship with EVO. Recently he joked to Jim about hiring him full-time and here he is!

Kenny says, “I’ve always dreamt of working with like-minded people with the same passion and desire to push things to the limit, help people and actually take pride in what you are doing. I appreciate all the opportunities that EVO has opened up to my family and can’t wait to grow with the team and see what the future has in store for us.

I want to thank my Mom for being my biggest fan and making me feel like I can do anything! (12/23/59-08/31/20). Thank you to the Zuccones for being true staples in the community and my wife, Marina because without her approval none of this would be possible!”

We’re glad to have you on the team, Kenny!
